On the isle at the crossing of the canal Plassendale-Nieuwpoort, next to the 2 boats, there is a brand-new building of the Outsider Coast, ‘t Kraaienest.

Next to a unique stay on one of our converted cargoships, we have extra accomodation now in ‘t Kraaienest.
t Kraaienest offers 20 places to sleep, divided over 3 rooms. There are 2 sleeping quarters for 8 people, with a separate room for 4. There are spacious sanitary facilities and a cosy bar where you can eat with the whole group, or where other activities can take place. A bar with a large terrace, extra rooms and recreation parks around this youth accommodation makes the whole complete. For smaller groups (up to 20 people) we offer comfort and space in a charming natural environment.

The domain and youth accommodation centre are also completely accessible for the disabled. Create your combination of boats and ‘t Kraaienest as you wish, and we ensure you an unforgettable stay! You also have the possibility to spend the night on our hotel boats, Jeanne Panne & Karel Cogge. When combining the 3 locations, the maximum capacity is 76 people.

You can fit up ‘t Kraaienest appropiately for all kinds of activities. Going from product presentations or other presentations to seminars for your company.
Your meetings will never be the same again, with the sluice of Saint Joris, the canal and the polders as unique background.

We received the “Groene Sleutel” (Green Key) for the first time in 2008. The Green Key is awarded every year by the Bond Beter Leefmilieu (umbrella organization of Flemish environmental associations) and Toerisme Vlaanderen (tourism of Flanders).
