The Karel Cogge
This ship, that is moored in Nieuwpoort, got his name from the lockkeeper who was responsible for the inundation of the Ijzervlakte during the first World War.
The boat offers 28 places to sleep in cabins from 2 to 3 people, each with central heating and running water. The meals are served on deck or in the cafeteria. If you wish, you can cook yourself in our caboose. The ship has a large deck that can be used as unique environment for your barbecue, as sun deck or as storage for bikes.
If you are staying on the Karel Cogge, then you can use the accomodation in ‘t Kraaienest, which is right next to the boat.
The Karel Cogge is recognized als official youth accommodation centre.
