Till Eulenspiegel
In those day Charles V ruled our counties and the Spanish were the big boss...

The city of Damme was occupied. Every year the big donkey feast was organized in Damme: A big feast with donkey pies, beer and all kinds of sweets, a true feast for everyone. But it looks like the feast will not take place this year. The Spanish, always repressing the habitants of Damme, imposed high taxes on the beer and they took the special flour, that is necessary for the donkey pie. But they did not consider Till Eulenspiegel, he planned that the feast would take place anyway.
And yes, Till Eulenspiegel encouraged all participants to help preparing everything so the feast can take place anyway. The group is divided in different teams. Each team gets a sheet with missions and a map, and also 1 bike per person. They need to accomplish the following tests as good as possible :
Spanish Legion
If we want to cross the fields unnoticed, then we have to look like a Spanish legion: we try to move simultaneously on long skis.
Target Practise
If we want to be able to defend ourself, we have to practise archery.

Carolus
The last Spanish directive is that flour can only be paid with Carolus. But there is one problem: only the Spanish own these Carolus… Luckily the Spanish are very playful and we can win real Carolus from them in a game called “tonspel” (old popular game).
Mill Test
We arrive in the mill to buy the flour with our Carolus. But on the spot we found out that only licensed millers can take the flour. So everyone has to do the ‘mill’-test first. Which team will score best?
Beer Barrel Test
The beer has to be smuggled at night, along a certain road. Therefor everyone, except one person, will be blindfolded. That person has to give the directions to smuggle the beer along the right route.
The program can be complemented with a sailing trip with the “Lamme Goedzak”. This is only possible from April, and costs a little bit extra.
